EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Education has become the most important part of our global world. Hence the early childhood education plays a vital role in child development. Early childhood education is also known as a nursery or pre-school education is a basic branch of education for teaching young children aged from birth to grade 2.it is a field of study where a child's learning formally and informally. In European countries, early education has a high literacy rate and it is increasing and becomes a norm in the western world. Early childhood education has been increasing in many countries very vastly and rapidly but still, there are many countries that are unaware of this early child need. Early education has become the basic need of children that not only affects children's future but also helps in country's development.

A recent UNESCO research shows that a preschool curriculum is one that delivers education through daily activities is essential for a child's physical, cognitive and social development.

According to David Kolb's learning theory, which was directed by John Dewey, Kurt Lewin and Jean Piaget, shows that children need to experience things in order to learn: "The process whereby knowledge is created through the transformation of experience. Knowledge results from the combinations of grasping and transforming the experience."  

Kolb says there are four stages of learning:  experience, observation, experiment, and conceptualization. Children observe new things, experience the situation, then experiment that thing in the world around them.

All around the world, there are centers that provide early childhood education they are referred to as a preschool, kindergarten, nursery or daycare education. Their purpose is to prepare young children for their higher education. Sending your toddlers to one of these early childhood education programs will surely give a positive impact towards a bright future.
